"You can tell how people are living according to their shoes"

Sneaker collecting is not something that just started or came about. People have been collecting sneakers for over 50 years, it is just that with the release of the Air Jordan 1 in 85' that it has become acknowledgeable in the urban community. My personal reason for collecting sneakers has been not only for style, but also for the quality of the shoe. Some sneakers get worn down pretty easily after a few wears especially if they are worn consistently. 

With collecting so many pairs I have come to realize that I often forget that i have even purchased a certain pair of sneakers. Many of them get sold or given away from my collection or they no longer fit so a gift to a family member of the size is quite evident. the say that " You can tell a lot about a person by looking at his shoes". This statement has some truth to it but not always the case. Sometime people who are living well or should I say wealthy, may not put on their best to walk around in the streets.  In saying that bummy shoes can mean a fat wallet or vice versa. With income tax season coming right around the corner, I can guarantee you that you will see many spending their ends on the highest priced kicks to look like they have it like that with their pockets looking like bunny ears. 

The moral of the story is to not always believe the hype, what you see is not always what you can expect. Some people portray something that they really are not and want to look like they are true sneaker collectors but are really imposter's.
