Silica Gels & Sneaker soles yellowing

As many of us already know, when you own a pair of sneakers that have clear or icy bottoms that only time can tell when that clear coat will begin to turn or look yellowish. The yellowing that we all fear as sneaker collectors is called oxidation.  Oxidation is a chemical reaction in which a material gives up electrons that combines with oxygen. This combination is the cause of icy bottoms turning yellow.

To date there is nothing that can prevent the soles from turning this color, but the process of it can be slowed down. How you ask? A product called Sea Glow that will help clean off that yellowish color along with the UV rays from the sun. Also the use of silica gels left within the sneaker box can also slow down oxidation because those little gel balls in the bag absorb moisture and prevents mildew that helps in the yellowing of the soles. So now that you know the primary use of those little bags, I bet you will not throw them out again or tear the bags open and dispose of the balls. For Sea Glow check there site for pricing.

What is MoSneaks TV About?

MoSneaks is a company that looks at the means of sneaker lovers and their obsession in collecting sneakers. With sneaker collecting being a cultural hobby that many partake in. Most collectors have a story behind why it is that they collect, buy or trade. The TV show goes into detail explaining how these collectors will go to the extreme to obtain a pair of exclusive sneakers by means of camping out for days, paying higher prices to be the first with them or travelling across the country. With a show like MoSneaks and its concept of sneaker collecting, we tend to take documenting the life of an individual to another level.

We plan to not only touch base on those that collect sneakers, but would also like to bring to you the lifestyles and collections of celebrity sneaker collectors and those in the industry that have sneaker contracts with major footwear brands. We shall showcase brands like Nike, Adidas, Converse, Reebok, and Asics, just to name a few and other brands that are entering into sneaker sales.

The success of the Avengers movie, has enticed brands like Reebok to join in for revenue. Reebok will be releasing a Marvel Pack like they did with the Spiderman Movie last year. First come last, Last come first

Very few people are born on the first of the month. When you think of the number (1), it stands in a class of its own. Anything you times it by equals itself. This is why those born on the first like to be self starters, self reliant, and only focus on what it is that they are pursuing. The last child born by my parents, I was the first to complete high school, first to attend college, and the first to graduate college attaining all 3 degrees. Not to pat myself on the shoulders, but I have worked hard for it and continue to do so. Today June 1st, is my birthday and it feels good to be 35 and have accomplished so many things. I hope that I can inspire, and motivate you all to never give up and know that everyone has their turn.

The Air Jordan XX (20) OG Stealth (Black/Stealth- Varsity Red listed as one of my favorite Air Jordans these will need to make a comeback. Great for playing ball, with the midfoot ankle support strap although I do not play basket ball the shoe is great for sport.

July we have another nice but odd colorway releasing of the Foamposite Pro "Gem Green". I can already see people getting their fatigue cargo pants in place to rock with these. They look to be more on the brown side but it all depends on what angle you look at them from.
